Technicians will assist with Internet services, desktop support, and security related issues. Our model work at home technician will have strong customer service and self-management skills along with excellent communication skills.
If you lack previous support experience, we provide on the job training and continuing education to advance your skills.
Qualifications: Exceptional customer focus with an emphasis on enhancing the customer experience, Proficient in Windows-based computer skills
Minimum technical requirements for Work at Home position: Desktop or Laptop PC (No Macintosh computers) 1GHz processor, 1 GB Ram Windows XP or Vista operating system Sound card and speaker, 15" monitor Webcam with Paltalk LIVE VIDEO CHAT! Windows Internet Explorer 7, Java Runtime Environment 1.4.2 Cisco VPN Client (we will provide this to you free) Virus and spyware protection and firewall (McAfee Total Protection 3User 2010 ) Additional software programs which may be required including Adobe Acrobat.
Minimum network requirements Broadband Internet connection (DSL and cable but not satellite, dial-up and wireless. A wireless network inside the home is allowed for the computer but not for the IP phone) TRENDnet Power over Ethernet Injector device Dedicated space with adequate work surface. Work area must be free from background noise and distractions
